Chairman’s Welcome
The Chairman S/M Harry Allen welcomed all to the AGM.
Opening.
The meeting opened at 20:00 with a silent tribute for those S/M’s that had crossed the bar.
Minutes.
The minutes of the 2010 AGM meeting were read: These were Proposed by S/M Denis Whitehead and seconded by S/M John Sheldon.
Matters arising
There were no matters arising and the minutes were signed as a true copy.
Treasurer’s Report.
S/M Berni Taft gave the 2010 financial statement;
total income was £2301-20
Total expenditure £2413-79
Expenditure over income was £112-59
The report was accepted and proposed by S/M John Watkins and seconded by S/M Bernie Butten.
Branch Report for 2010
The secretary then read his report strength of the branch stood at 55. 2 Life members & 40 full,
plus13 associates. Since the last AGM 2 members lost their wives Dolly Grey & Sid Porter.
The secretary then thanked S/M Taft as standard bearer & social secretary for giving up time and work on dinner’s ect.
also thanks to all for making a successful branch.

It was proposed by S/M Mike Gilbert and
seconded by S/M Sid Jones that these elections be accepted and this was agreed by all present.

The chairman then thanked the committee for giving their Wednesday lunch to attend meetings.
The AGM was then closed at 20:12 and continued with the monthly meeting.
